Squad Experience

High school juniors and seniors: Interested in auditioning for the UCLA Spirit Squad? You can get a taste of the squad experience by signing up for the "Walk Like a Bruin" program. You will spend a day with our Cheer Squad, Dance Team or Yell Crew. Your day will include a campus tour, attending a class with a squad member, a meal in the Student Union, and the opportunity to observe a practice with the team. Please scheduled your visit from Monday-Friday. Sign up today to join us, visit Westwood and take part in the UCLA Bruin experience!

Cheer Squad candidates: Practices are Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Dance Team candidates: Practices are Tuesday mornings and Wednesday nights.

  • November: 9, 12, 13, 15, 22-23
  • December: 8-31
  • January: 1-6, 17, 21
  • February: 7, 18, 28
  • March: 16-31
  • April: entire month
