Junior Spirit Squad

Junior Spirit Squad is open to ALL future Bruins, ages 4-18. The team works directly with the UCLA Spirit Squad and Coaching Staff. Participants perform traditional UCLA cheers and routines at multiple UCLA events including football, volleyball, basketball and gymnastics. View photos »

2013-14 Practice Calendar

Sunday, Sept. 22, 2-5 p.m.
First Practice, Uniform Fitting and Family Kick-off Event
Kick-off event will include pizza, drinks, music and fun for the entire family!
MANDATORY attendance to perform during fall events
Registration and uniform fitting for new members will start at 12:30 p.m.
Registration for returning members will start at 1 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 6, 2-5 p.m.
Second Practice
MANDATORY attendance to perform during fall events

The program will be split by ages (4-7, 8-11, 12+).
Staff will move participants to appropriate groups at their discretion.

Participation Fee

Returning Members: $175
Returning Member Sibling Rates:
2 squad members: $300 (savings of $50)
3 squad members: $400 (savings of $125)

Uniform for Returning Members Include:

• Bow (females) or UCLA Wristband (males).
• Uniform is being carried over from the 2012-13 season.
• Uniform items will be available for purchase a la carte.

New in 2013 - Uniform Buy Back Program!
If your uniform is in perfect condition, we will have a designated area at our Kick-off for sales of 2012 uniform (can be sold as separates). Details on program will be sent at a later date.

New Members: $250

3 squad members: $625 (savings of $125!)

Uniform/gear for new members Include:

• Official Jr. Spirit Squad replica uniform (shell, skirt, briefs, bodyliner)
• Pom Poms (females) or Megaphone (males)
• Bow (females) or UCLA Wristband (males)

Junior Spirit Gear
Additional Junior Spirit Squad gear will be available for purchase.
Only a limited quantity of shirts will be available for purchase at the Kick-off event.

Order forms will be available at the Kick-off event.
The team sweats (jacket/pants), sweatshirts, beanie and satchel will be the same as the 2012-13 design.

Fee Includes

• One participant ticket to each performance
• One team photo

Fee Does Not Include

• Parking at UCLA ($11/day ) or the Rose Bowl ($25/game)
• Guest ticket/s for performances/games
• Performance tennis shoes
